Us AbundantLiving.org is a web site supported by a group of people committed to living the life God created us to have. God paid a tremendous price for us when He sent His Son to earth to bear our guilt, to die for our sins that we might have the hope of eternal life. We respond to His great grace by turning our lives over to Him. We do this by living according to His teachings as found in the Bible and by submitting to the rule of Jesus Christ as Lord in our lives. In accepting Jesus Christ as Savior and living by His teachings, we find that His words are not just “nice” principles, but instructions backed up by dynamic laws. The more a person lives in step with the teachings of the Bible, the more his life can be blessed. God sent His Son to free us from all types of bondage so that we can live a happy and prosperous life. God wants to free us from guilt, fear, anger, bitterness, resentment, pride, poor self- esteem, selfishness and slavery to our flesh so that we can live a spiritual life filled with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control, humility, courage and thanksgiving. There are ways which lead to life, lasting happiness and success. The road less traveled is the way to what all men and women really want and need. It is a narrow and difficult way, but those who seek it find real blessing and satisfaction in life. We are committed to helping people along the way in their relationship with God. |

David Liesenfelt David Liesenfelt, founder of AbundantLiving.org, was born in Kankakee, Illinois, the youngest of five children and son of a successful entrepreneur. Growing up in a Christian family and attending Christian schools, David was reared with a love for God and family. However, a personal defining moment came for David at age 15 when God called Him to begin studying the Bible. Though baptized as an infant, David made his own commitment to God and was baptized at age 18. After graduating from college in 1990 with a degree in Theology, he entered into business and helped build a national consulting corporation. In his years of business experience, David has consulted business executives and negotiated goods and services agreements worth hundreds of millions of dollars. He helped found and later joined Lussenheide Capital Management, Inc. a company designed to help people manage their investments. These everyday life experiences have been invaluable in helping David serve others spiritually. He has trained and publicly spoken to thousands of individuals on Christian and business related topics. In addition to his work, he serves as an itinerant preacher. David enjoys being a positive influence in the lives of other people to help them realize and achieve their goals. He enjoys teaching, hiking, traveling, playing guitar and spending time with his friends and family. He is happily married to his college sweetheart, Stephanie (Miller) and is the father of three children, Brontë, Aric and Jack.
